The constituency

The constituency of Camborne, Redruth and Hayle was first contested at the May 2010 General Election when the Liberal Democrats came within 66 votes of winning.

The bulk of the new constituency was formed from the previous Falmouth and Camborne constituency, held from 2005-2010 by Liberal Democrat MP Julia Goldsworthy. The remainder is made up from parts taken from the neighbouring Truro and St Austell and St Ives constituencies.

How you can help

We are always looking for new supporters and volunteers to help the Liberal Democrats connect with local constituents. The next set of local government elections in Cornwall are for Cornwall Council and our town and parish councils in May 2017. If you would like to be considered as a Lib Dem candidate please get in touch - info@crhlibdems.org.uk
