The visit to Illogan was part of an extended tour of Cornwall with Tim knocking on doors in Falmouth, Perranporth, Kelly Bray and Launceston on this occasion.

Tim said, "Cornwall has a proud Liberal tradition and it was a real pleasure to support so many able local councillors and campaigners on the ground. David Ekinsmyth is doing a brilliant job for local people in Illogan as was made clear by many of the people I spoke to whilst out and about."

David Ekinsmyth said, " It was fantastic to show Tim around the village on such a glorious sunny day, speaking to residents in Alexandra Road and Close. Thanks to the wider team who gave up their morning to support me.

"I have done my level best to represent residents to the best of my ability in the last few years. With developers circling the village the work local residents and the parish council are doing in preparing a Neighbourhood Plan is more important than ever. I will do my best to support as always."
