Julia said: "On May 7th voters will be asked to go to the polls to decide who will govern the country for the next five years, but in an election year that is full of uncertainty it is more important than ever that people choose the person who they feel will stand up for them best here in Camborne, Redruth and Hayle.

"Camborne, Redruth and Hayle desperately needs an MP who will fight their corner and campaign for a better deal for local people. The Tories have set out their plans for drastic cuts for the next five years which go too far and would be devastating for Cornwall. Labour nearly bankrupt the country in Government and still haven't learnt the lessons from the past. It is now more important than ever that we have an MP who will work day in and day out for a fair deal for our area.

"In the last several months my campaigns to Scrap the Police Commissioner in order to recruit more bobbies on the beat and to stop the Conservatives cutting local wages through the introduction of regional pay have struck a chord with many people. In the coming months I look forward to meeting even more people. I want to talk about why we need to scrap Cornwall Council and replace it with a new, more powerful, assembly and will continue to campaign for more tax cuts for hardworking people.

"If Cornwall is to flourish in the next five years we need Members of Parliament who will deliver. My priority is to get our voice properly heard and needs recognised so that Cornwall gets the fair deal we deserve. Please do visit my new website where you can sign up to receive more information about the work I am doing in our local area."
